Dennis had a magnetism that drew people to him.

“King of collections,” Dennis knew what he loved. Records, CDs, Models, Magazines and Matchbox Cars.

Dennis had an amazing knowledge of music genres. Whether it be Rock n’ Roll or Smooth Jazz, Dennis knew musicians and songs that the rest of us had never heard of.

Raised Catholic, Dennis always had an active religious life. As an adult, Dennis spent many years worshiping at Saint Bernadette’s Church in Springfield, Virginia. Being a part of the Knights of Columbus was so important to him. He continued to worship when he moved to Ashby Ponds.

Dennis loved non-fiction. He was an avid reader of military and music history, and enjoyed many biographies. He even traveled to Civil War battlefields and WWII battle sites that he read about.

Dennis loved dancing. His dancing transitioned by era and interest. He loved disco to country western to shag dancing.
